Know every move your competitors make. Before it costs you a sale.
Ghost Watch sends AI agents to track your competitors’ real prices, promotions and launches. It shows which brands AI shopping assistants recommend, and tells you which changes matter to your sales and what to do next.
- The price customers actually pay, taken from the checkout
- Competitor moves and AI recommendations in one place
- Alerts ranked by their effect on your sales
A competitor cut prices 15% on 12 products that compete with yours.
You’re now the most expensive on 8 of them, including your top seller. They also added free shipping over $50.
| Product | Theirs, at checkout | Yours, at checkout |
|---|---|---|
| Trail runner, men’s | $101.90 | $124.95 (higher) |
| Trail runner, women’s | $101.90 | $124.95 (higher) |
| Merino sock, 3-pack | $33.15 | $32.00 |
Suggested next step: match free shipping over $50 before the weekend, when 40% of your trail sales happen.
Why Ghost Watch
One tool instead of three.
Price trackers don’t see AI assistants. AI-visibility tools don’t see your competitors’ prices or promotions. Neither tells you what a change means for your sales. Ghost Watch does all three, starting from the price a customer really pays.
Prices on the product page
- Competitor list prices
- Shipping, fees and cart discounts
- What AI assistants recommend
- What a change means for your sales
Mentions in AI answers
- What AI assistants recommend
- Competitor prices and promotions
- Why a rival won the recommendation
- What a change means for your sales
The whole picture, explained
- The price customers pay at checkout
- Promotions, launches and stock
- What AI assistants recommend, and why
- Every change ranked by impact on your sales
How it works
Tracking in minutes, not weeks.
No spreadsheets, no setup calls, no rules to write.
Name your competitors
Paste their website addresses. Agents find their catalogs and match their products to yours.
Connect your store
Optional: link Shopify so every change is ranked by its effect on your own products and sales.
Get alerts that matter
Impact-ranked alerts by email or Slack, each with what changed, why it matters and a suggested next step, plus a weekly digest.
What it tracks
Everything a competitor changes that a customer notices.
Prices at checkout
Shipping, fees and cart discounts included.
Promotions
Banners, discount codes and sitewide sales.
Launches and stock
New products, restocks and gaps you can fill.
Delivery promises
How fast they ship to your customers.
AI recommendations
Which brands assistants suggest, and why.
Messaging
Changes to their key pages and claims.
Resellers
Who lists your products below your minimum advertised price.
Your sales impact
From your own Shopify data, if you connect it.
The AI shelf
Your next customer may never see your website.
More shoppers now ask an AI assistant what to buy. If it recommends a competitor, you lose the sale without knowing it happened. Ghost Watch shows who gets recommended for the questions your customers ask, and connects it to what changed: a price cut, a new review, a launch.
Ranked by impact
Not what changed. What it means.
Most tools send a flood of raw changes. Ghost Watch reads them for you: it groups related changes, uses the price a customer actually pays, weighs each change against your own sales, and puts the few that matter at the top.
- Plain-English alerts a busy team can act on
- Every number shows where and when it was collected
- A weekly digest for leadership: what moved, and why
- High impactFree shipping over $50 at a competitorAffects 12 of your products, including your top seller.
- Medium impactA rival dropped out of stock on rain jacketsA chance to win shoppers on 4 products.

Plus 211 smaller changes in your weekly digest. Illustrative example, not real data.

Our principle
We crawl in the open.
Ghost Watch comes from a team that helps websites work well for people and for AI agents. We hold our own agents to the same standard. How we collect data.
- Every request is signed, so websites can tell exactly who we are.
- We respect robots.txt and sites’ published access rules.
- We only read public pages. We never log in to competitors’ sites.
- Every data point records where and when it was collected.
The Ghost family
From the team behind Ghost Inspector and Ghost Agent Labs.
Ghost Inspector tests websites for people. Ghost Agent Labs makes them work for AI agents. Ghost Watch uses the same agent engine to watch the market around your store.
Questions
Frequently asked
When can I start using Ghost Watch?
We’re building it now and will invite a small group of brands first. Join the waitlist and we’ll contact you as places open up.
How much will it cost?
We plan simple monthly plans from $49 to $499 that grow with the number of products you track, plus custom Enterprise plans, with no long contracts. See planned pricing. Prices may change before launch.
Do I need a Shopify store?
No. Competitor tracking works for any online store. We’re starting with Shopify because connecting your store lets Ghost Watch rank changes by their effect on your own sales.
Which AI assistants will you cover?
We plan to start with ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Mode, for the shopping questions you choose. See the AI shelf.
Will competitors know you’re tracking them?
Websites can see that Ghost Watch visited, because we sign our requests. They can’t see which customer asked us to look. See how we collect data.
How is this different from a price tracker?
Price trackers copy the price on the product page. Ghost Watch takes the price a customer actually pays at checkout, adds promotions, launches and AI recommendations, and explains what a change means for you instead of listing every change.
